Identification of disc type

Before creating a copy of a disc (or disc image) you should identify a disc type (for example, audio- or video-disc, data-disc etc.).

You can do that easily when browsing the root folder of the disk.

• If you see “Audio_TS” and “Video_TS” folders you have a DVD movie inserted.
  Note: DAEMON Tools Pro can backup only non-protected movies.
• If you see *.cda files you have an Audio CD inserted.
  Note: DAEMON Tools Pro can backup only non-protected Audio CDs.
• When you see *.exe and *.dll files you have a data disk inserted which can be backupped by DAEMON Tools Pro.
